We are available to accept all food items (including perishables) on Thursday mornings from 9:30 - 11:00 am and Thursday afternoons from 12:30 - 3:00 pm.
If Thursday times aren’t convenient, or if you have a large food donation, alternate times can be pre-arranged by getting in touch with us via phone (705-690-5778) or email (waldenfoodbank215@gmail.com).
We also have a drop off bin for our food bank located at Gayathry & Adhavan's YIG in Lively. Should you happen to think of us while doing a grocery shop, feel free to drop your donation in the bin by the exit doors.
The easiest way to donate to us is through the Sudbury Food Bank’s online donation page. Where it says “Write a private message to us (optional)", be sure to indicate “donation for Walden Food Bank” in the message box and the donation will be forwarded to us with your name and address. You will receive a tax receipt from the Sudbury Food Bank and a thank you card from us. Click here to be taken to the online donation page.
You can also mail a cheque to complete your donation and receive a tax receipt. Simply make the cheque payable to the Sudbury Food Bank (and write Walden Food Bank in the memo line). You will receive your tax receipt from the Sudbury Food Bank and a thank you card from us. You can mail your cheque to Sudbury Food Bank at 1105 Webwood Drive, Sudbury P3C 3B6.
If you don’t require a tax receipt, you can mail a cheque payable to Walden Food Bank, 215 Sixth Avenue, Lively P3Y 1M4. We will send you a thank you card acknowledging your donation.
Cash donations can be delivered directly to the Walden Food Bank on Thursday morning’s from 9:30 to 11:00 am and Thursday afternoons from 12:30 to 3:00 pm. We can give you a basic receipt and send you a thank you card acknowledging your donation.

We provide clients with fresh produce (potatoes, apples, carrots, & onions at minimum), eggs, milk, bread, cheese slices, and meat which we obtain weekly.
